Project: Siding Springs Observatory

The bushfires of January 2013 damaged parts of the observatory and completely destroyed 3 buildings including a motel and living quarters. Having been built in the 1960’s the buildings contained a lot of asbestos. 

Pure Contracting was engaged to remediate the site which included removing all of the fire damaged structures under asbestos conditions.
